Christmas: Politically Correct

         Merry Christmas or should I say have a happy holiday. Some people think its not politically correct to say merry Christmas any more because some people don't celebrate Christmas. No this is not a joke, people are scared to say merry Christmas because they don't want to offend anyone.
          Saying merry Christmas could offend somebody. Some people celebrate different holidays that we don't, they don't make us celebrate them do they? So why should we make them. Allot of people don't say merry Christmas but it's for the good of people that don't celebrate it.
           On the other side of the debate, people don't care and say merry Christmas! Why should they not be joyful during their holiday. So people are going to stop saying happy Easter or have a nice new year. It's not fair to not be able to say, " Happy New Year! and merry Christmas!."  The fact is that although our country is changing it was founded on christian beliefs and the first documents of our nation were full of quotes from the bible.  That is why for decades we were saying merry Christmas.  I don't think anyone is trying to offend anybody when they say Merry Christmas, they're just happy during that holiday.

           Being politically correct might not always be personally correct...

Letter To Santa

To question your existence is like to question why the sun never stops shining. I have hope that you will bring me a 12 month xbox live card. I am a very good gamer and write a gaming blog so people will see if they like the game before they get it. I also can talk and play online with my friends and family and have fun even when I’m sad.

Right now I still have a couple of months of xbox live but soon it will be expired. How would I write my blog and tell people about games or how could I play online and talk with my family and friends. xbox live is a could thing and hopefully I will get it for Christmas. With xbox live I could do alot of fun stuff and I belive that if I am good I will get my xbox live. You have probably ready over 100 letters today but please keep in mind that I am on the nice list and I checked twice thank you for your time. Merry Christmas.

Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is time to give thanks for all your blessings. Its time for you to say thank you for those big and little things that you use each and everyday. Alot of times when we have things we dont see how good we have it. But you have one day to say thank you, thank God and Thanksgiving

Halo 1

Halo 1 was and is a very good game. Halo was a great gaming experience because a lot of people loved it and I was one of them.
Halo was created long ago when the flood was infecting everything in its path. The flood is an infection with a mind of its own. There where 4 elders and they decided that if species where going to live they would have to destroy all the flood. And then Halo was made a weapon that would wipe out any form of life in the galaxy. So the 4 elders made a machine that would store living creatures including humans so  they could live through the destruction of Halo. And It worked.

The storymode on Halo is very exciting, You play as Spartan 117 the spartan who was choesen by Cortana. Cortana is an A.I. an A.I. is a computerized piece of knoledge Cortana holds the intelegens of the whole unirverse. She was brought from Planet Reach Made by  Dr. Halsey. All the time in story mode she's with you, at the end you out run the hord of Flood and get in your ship and talk to Cortana. Master Chief (117) survives and takes of his helmet but the game zooms out of the ship before you can even get a glimps of his true face.

          Does patriotism still matter? When I hear those words I feel weird. Does it matter? I mean some people don’t care. Some people have no heart, does it matter? It might not matter for you but somebody out there has a sibling protecting and serving our country. Imagine us kids, teachers and parents were slaves….

          What would our world be if people weren’t fighting all the time, peaceful, but its not. We as citizens of the United States of America could do one simple thing to help, care. It doesn’t take much to care but some people find it difficult. It matters all the time every time we smile every time we eat a good meal every time you’re in the arms of your mother or father it still matters.

          Some families hope to see there patriot one more time but some times they can’t. Imagine you come home one day and your mom is not there a lot of people have to deal with that. Does it matter if soldiers don’t come back from a war?  Does it matter if you lost that special some one in your heart?

          We can all be patriots by just doing something kind for our country. Just by showing a simple act of kindness a good deed you and I could become a patriot, let’s start by writing this paper.

Does patriotism still matter?...... YES!

Ralph Fletcher

I know that This is a gaming blog and no I'm not a nerd I don't like reading but when a book is good I'll read it and enjoy it. I enjoyed Ralph Fletcher because he writes so simple that anyone who can read will understand his books. Even though he writes simple he uses professional writing strategies. Here's 3 sentences I liked from one of his books

In school we wrote in pencil so putting inked words on a piece of paper made me feel like a grown up.

Many summer nights we played baseball for hours until finally mom yelled " It's too dark."

He was a really good baby and a terrific brother.
